The maintenance manager sets example by following standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage people of the department to preserve safety of personnel, working of machines, and proper handling of waste water.<\/li>\n<li>Lead weekend maintenance and periodic training activities.<\/li>\n<li>Document, prepare and communicate team schedules and progress reports<\/li>\n<li>Participate in 8D problem solving for non-conformances and resolve issues with interdepartmental coordination.<\/li>\n<li>Act as a technical contact for vendors\/ suppliers and participate in any project requiring outside contractor at the facility<\/li>\n<li>Be on call to assist in urgent situations such as a line crash or anything that causes immediate production downtime<\/li>\n<li>Daily duties including but not limited to:\n<ul>\n<li>Cutting, drilling, bending, and punching metal materials<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an inventory of tooling and materials needed to supply projects.<\/li>\n<li>Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and cooperate with continuous improvement activities for cycle time reduction, direct labor reduction, alternative materials and scrap reduction.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee maintenance of HVAC\/refrigeration equipment, air compressors, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Preventative maintenance of the equipment, RO system, facility and all shop tools or mechanical equipment to ensure the company receives maximum utilization of its assets.<\/li>\n<li>Lead troubleshooting and resolution of issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and experience:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School diploma or GED required<\/li>\n<li>Five years of experience in industrial maintenance or wastewater management<\/li>\n<li>Degree or certificate from technical school preferred (especially wastewater)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with chemical processes preferred (especially caustic chemicals)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese with willingness to learn technical language is a MUST<\/li>\n<li>Equipment Maintenance and Technical Understanding, Supervision Capabilities, Wastewater Management<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform basic electrical and mechanical skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform basic math skills; use decimals to compute ratios and percentages<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends<\/li>\n<li>Lifting required up to 70 lbs on occasion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1541,"template":"","location":[283],"job_type":[195],"state":[282],"keyword":[281,49,33,216],"visa_sponsor":[35,197],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.13 -
