TITLE: Shipper/Receiver

WORK HOUR: 6:30AM to 3:00PM

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving the parts order after inspection, and packing according to the counting and packing standards.
• Reporting to the group leader or quality control of defects discovered while packing parts
• Receiving shipping orders and instructions from the sales.
• Picking up the item from stock.
• Operating label makers to make and apply labels.
• Checking shipping orders, verifying counts, and loading trucks.
• Operating hand and powered material handling equipment.
• Obtaining signature from drivers.
• Monitoring shipping supplies and notifying superior of need to reorder.
• May operate truck to pick up or deliver parcels.
• Off loading raw material, products, and supplies from trucks.
• Counting and verifying materials compared to bill of landing, signs receipt.
• Recording discrepancies and reporting discrepancies to the group leader.
• Maintaining records and sheets related to packing record, and shipping instructions.
• Following safety standards wearing specified personal protective equipment.
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Job Qualification

• High school diploma or general education
• 0-1 year of related experience in shipping and receiving
• Speaking, reading and writing in clear English
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skill
• Ability to multi-task with high analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret written documents and correctly understand verbally spoken explanations.
