Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs
- Transition products from product development to mass production
- Assist in the review of contractor plans, including goals, objectives and schedules and timelines
- Provide technical direction and support
- Attends briefings with Sr. Management and assists in problem resolution
- Design and test electronic products
- Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
- Develops and tests various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
- Attend shift meetings and others applicable to the position
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree preferred in Engineering field but Associate degree in electrical or mechanical field and a minimum of or four (4) years experience and/or training is acceptable
- Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods
- Strong machining, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical skills - PLC and CNC skills.
- Lean manufacturing techniques.
