Responsibilities:
- Manage existing customer accounts and pursue new business opportunities in order to increase company's overall sales
- Maintain close communication with customers' purchasing and engineering contacts through frequent visits and / or phone calls
- Work with internal staff to manage delivery and billing activities as needed
- Thoroughly understand and be able to convey to customer the company's product offerings and technical details of the products
- Gather customer requirements and select most suitable motor to match those requirements
- Prepare and present general and technical presentations to customers
- Conduct commercial negotiations and contract review with customers' purchasing staff
- Document and maintain detailed customer program information
- Travel as necessary for sales activities and customer support (overnight travel less than 10%)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and BS in Engineering or other technical discipline a plus.
- Automotive Business to Business (B2B) sales experience preferred.
- Would consider applicants with associates degree and relevant experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and passport.
- Strong customer service skills – ability to translate the customer needs into solutions
- Ability to negotiate both internally and with customers
- Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
