One of our clients, an Automotive Motor Parts company located in Chillicothe, OH is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The wage is $18-22 and non-exempt.

Position Summary:

This individual will perform highly technical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and process standards within a tier one automotive supplier machining manufacturing facility.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Commitment to objectives regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery and management as communicated in the handbook, shift meetings, postings
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment
• Read and interpret wire schematics, blue prints, equipment manuals and work orders to perform required planned maintenance and service
• Replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities
• Use a variety of tools, multi meters and material in maintaining the equipment
• 5S (Sort, Set-in-Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) your work space and 5S duties as assigned

• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical drawings.

• Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

Education and work experience:

• Four years’ experience in a machining manufacturing environment
• Strong machining, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical skills - PLC and CNC skills
• Vision System experience is a plus
• CNC machine monitoring, troubleshooting and repair. (Mitsubishi and Fanuc preferred)
• PLC skills to diagnose machine problems
