One of our clients - a Global Trading Company - is currently looking for a Bilingual Accounting Manager. This position pays $50-80K per year.

Essential Duties

• Accounting Functions
  • Ensures Accounting processes accounting information accurately and timely in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Coordinates Accounting closings and report to President
  • Supervises the creation of various Accounting reports to ensure that all reports are accurately and timely prepared and submitted.
  • Implements and maintains proper internal control.
  • Manage and implement financial arrangement in cooperation with Headquarter in Japan
  • Handle company tax issues
  • Additional duties in regards to Accounting and Financial issues as requested.
  • Support Financial Statement in cooperation with Auditor.
  • Inspect balance of Accounts Receivable and clear any issues.
  • Administer Fixed and Leased Assets.
  • Cash Management, bank reconciliation, fund and credit control.
  • Assist President in annual budget preparation.

• HR Functions
  • Provide counsel and guidance regarding personnel and work-related issues to managers, supervisors and other staff members in Chicago and Indianapolis offices.
  • Create and manage policy and procedure of annual performance review & promotion.
  • Report to President of benefit and payroll concerns raised by employees.
  • Review and implement benefit, payroll practice and improve them if necessary
  • Recruiting
  • Manage work authorization process assuring compliance with appropriate immigration laws and regulations.
  • Plan implementation of Merit Bonuses, based on business result and individual performance.
  • Provide training for harassment, discrimination free work environment.
  • Conduct investigation, interview and take appropriate action when any HR issue occurs.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience as Accounting Manager
• Bachelor degree
• Strong knowledge of MS Office software products.
