One of our clients - a Global Logistics Company- is currently looking for an experienced Sales Specialist This position’s pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • New Customer Development:
  • Research potential new customers
  • Follow-up for request for quote (RFQ) to secure new business
  • Operational Follow-up at initial stage

Existing Customer Maintenance:

  • Timely RFQ handling for customer feedback on pricing
  • Develop new business from existing customer
  • Follow-up to retain existing customers on irregularity shipments or issues relating to transportation, customer service, or pricing.
  • Support customer requirements as possible within legal, ethical, and company limitations.
  • Communicate with customers our ability and expectations to ensure smooth transaction.
  • Support the operations team for transportation as needed.

Sales Action Planning:

  • Sales targeting
  • Reports during regular sales meetings
  • Quarterly reviews on FY planning
  • Promotional items planning and procuring such items for promotion and inventory control.

Daily Activities:

  • Receive emails from overseas and North American customers.
  • Contact vendors as required for RFQ request.
  • Save records of customer interactions for reference by sales team.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of related experience in freight forwarding, automotive, manufacturing, or trading industry.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 25%) for business trips.
  • Knowledge/willingness to learn of Microsoft TEAMS
