One of our clients - Global Logistics company is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator. This position pays $17 or per hour, full time, and temp to hire. The first three months are on contract, with full benefit eligibility upon official hiring.

Job Function

Work with the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager for completing all day-to-day shipment activities for assigned customers, ensuring shipments are processed and delivered in an accurate, timely manner.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate, timely file shipping documentation (Domestic & Export including AES Filing)
• Timely and accurate packing for domestic and export shipments according to company standards.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning all aspects of shipments in courteous and efficient manner
• Provide any necessary reports to Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipment documents.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Summary of Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 2-4 years of college education (or equivalent relevant experience) a huge plus
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Reasoning, decision making, and time management skills
