One of our clients – an Automotive Parts Manufacturing company – is looking for a CAE/CAD Engineer. Is position is accepting entry level candidates and this position pays $50,000 to $75,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CAE on designs from product development team to evaluate the performance of the intended design, and feedback appropriate information as requested, such as linear & nonlinear FEA (Finite Element Analysis), injection molding etc.
• Perform pre-processing using available software to create finite element model in compliance with company or customer
• Perform post-processing of CAE analysis using provided software and create reports in compliance with company or customer
• Perform additional duties, such as maintaining databases or conducting research, as requested
• Communicate with team members inside/outside department on project related matters and
• Generate 3D Model and 2D Model (drawings) of product and test fixtures as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or above.
• Basic understanding of FEA (Theoretical)
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimum supervision
• Use of Microsoft Office programs
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic to learn and work as a
• Knowledge/Experience of software for FEA A(baqus, Altair HyperWorks, Moldex3D, MSC Software,Ansys, nCode etc); and CAD (Catia V5, NX )

Additional Skills (Desired but not required):

• Has some hands-on experience with CAE software,
• Understanding of anti-vibration products, NVH or Material Mechanics
• Problem solving skills related to CAE and CAD
• Understanding of basic computer hardware and
• Understanding of basic material parameters/characterization methods
