One of our clients - Global Logistics company is currently looking for an Export Agent. This position pays $40-50K per year based on skills and experience.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Prepares for rate quote, arrange booking and pick up
• Provides booking information and on-hand report to clients
• Oversees documentation error prevention, pre-alerts and accurate AES filing
• Coordinates the consolidations or co-loadings for better profitability
• Obtains better rates from carriers and trucking
• Checks surcharges and GRI
• Reviews Customer contract and rates
• Verifies invoice and Account Payable and Account Receivable
• Coordinates and ensures to post Invoices on time
• Prepares monthly ISO report; send out surveys and service evaluation
• Coordinates preparation of inventory and on-hand report
• Reviews Customer contract and rates

Summary of Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Business level English skills
• Logistics experience preferred
• Import experience would be a big plus
• Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology
• Experience in supervising team activities
• Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports
• Excellent communication skills
