One of our clients, an Enzyme Processing Plant, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative. This position is temp to hire (3 months’ contract before hiring) and non-exempt with hourly pay based on experience. The position becomes Exempt upon hiring. The salary for this position is $50,000-90,000 based on experience. 

 Responsibilities: 

• Building and maintaining quality relations with the existing assigned accounts and increase account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis. 
• Contacting customers via telephone, email, correspondence or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary.  
• Providing information and/or following up on customers as requested. 
• Reevaluating work on an ongoing basis to increase market share. 
• Creating customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements in an efficient manner. 
• Submitting call reports and monthly sales reports to the supervisor and updating the action plan sheet  
• Establishing annual sales budget, which surpasses the previous year annual sales. 
• Meeting or surpassing the annual sales budget.  
• Reporting to the supervisor and senior management to explain the business status as effectively, simply and concisely as possible in a timely manner.
• Performing other related duties as assigned. 

 Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required 
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking required 
• Upon hiring, 30% travel is both expected and required. 
• Valid driver’s license  
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Strong communication and negotiating skill 
• Ability to multi-task with high analytical skills
