One of our clients - Global Logistics company is currently looking for an Import Coordinator. This position pays $40,000 per year as well as full-time and direct hire.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipments with the exporter/customer
• Data entry including data to company system and US Customs
• Freight dispatching arrangements
• Arrangements with Warehouse department for receiving & shipping
• Verify ocean/air bills of lading, various export documents
• Ensure the accuracy of all documents before submitting to brokers
• Approve vendor invoices and process for payment
• Generate invoice to customers
• Track shipment and keep up to date on shipment progress for customer and company.
• Audit and maintain files
• Purchase dry ice for temperature control of pharmaceutical shipments.
• Various office tasks, including but not limited to recordkeeping, scanning, processing third-party delivery labels.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• 2-4 years of college education (or equivalent relevant experience) a huge plus
• Strong written/oral communication skills
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Reasoning, decision making, and time management skills
