One of our clients, a global manufacturing company, is currently looking for a Machine Service Engineer. This position is direct hire, exempt, and salaried $80-100K per year based on experience.

General Description:

The Machine Service Engineer primary role is to demonstrate, install, and troubleshoot high precision machines and accessories.
Additionally, this position involves supporting the sales department by providing technical information of the products and recommendation to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate machine to customers.
• Inspect assembled equipment to ensure proper functionality and installation.
• Inspect all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances.
• Install equipment at customer location.
• Troubleshoot equipment for proper operation.
• Professionally interact with customers and internal sales managers during field projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Give phone support to customers.
• Identify customer needs and give recommendations.
• Develop and deliver in-house training for the employees regarding the service procedures and the company's policies and procedures.

Other Responsibilities:

• Create and draft technical contents on company website, and other marketing material.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications:

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing machining centers.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training

Skills Required:

• Must communicate in a professional manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong trouble shooting skills including knowledge of tooling, mechanical system, repair equipment and electronic components.
• Ability to read and analyze technical information from schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.

Physical / Mental Requirements / Working Conditions:

• The ability to walk, stand, turn, climb, kneel, sit for extended periods, reach, lift, carry, push, talk, hear and see.
• The ability to use an office phone, cell phone, fax machine, photocopier, computer keyboard, laptop and other electronic business tools and related software.
• Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, adapt to and stay alert in a business environment and use independent judgment to accomplish all duties and responsibilities.
