One of our clients, an Enzyme Processing Plant, is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator. This position is temp to hire (3 months’ contract before hiring) and non-exempt with hourly pay of $20-24 based on experience.

Responsibilities: (50% physical processing/50% desk work)

• Contribute to the company’s sales and profit through inventory control activities.
• Performs all inventory control related activities, including receiving, storage, shipping, storage sanitation
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements through the company’s quality management system.
• Follow all established Logistics’ Departments methods and procedures.
• Promotes a cooperative and constructive atmosphere.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Team Lead or Department Manager.
• Provides guidance and direction to lower level or new employees.
• Responsibility to report any and all food safety problems or concerns.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Computer skills required.
• Food manufacturing experience a plus.
• Warehousing/Shipping experience a plus.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Facility and equipment maintenance experience a plus.
• Knowledge/experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) a plus.
