Translator/ Interpreter in Lafayette IN, USA (Full Time Position)

One of our clients, a global automotive company, is looking for a Translator/ Interpreter. This position is full time, non-exempt and pays $22-26 hourly based on knowledge, qualifications and experience.

Location: Lafayette, IN

Requirements:

• Must have strong/ fluent Japanese language skills in writing and speaking – preferably
  with JLPT N2 or above certification
• Need to relocate to Lafayette and is able to work on-site in this location.
• Must be flexible to be able to travel to other states occasionally
• Few years' experience of translation/interpretation is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

•  Interpret Japanese/English during meetings between American companies and
  Japanese personnel between JPN/ American engineers/ expats -
• Manual translations
• General Administration (MS Word, Excel)
• Assist expats for opening new bank account, supporting Internet account contract/ agreement, Housing issues etc.

Salary:
$22.00 – 26.00 (Hourly) – Depending on their knowledge, qualifications, and experience.

Other:

• We are willing to teach or support on-the-job training.
• Relocation support may be available (depending on where the applicant resides in)
