Responsibilities:

• Analyzing company strength and weaknesses, and developing sales strategies reflecting this analysis.
• Creating tactics to maximize cargo revenue at each station.
• Developing and maintaining relationship with cargo agencies and postal authorities.
• Monitoring competitors’ activities and customers’ need and keeping management aware of the change.
• Making calls and meetings with customers.
• Contacting the shipping company personnel and the postal authority/department.
• Proposing rate and incentive deals for cargo and mail.
• Acting as a liaison between the Japan headquarter and sales stations.
• Overseeing overall sales and customer service efforts.
• Reviewing local cargo/mail sales needs and conduct necessary meetings with appropriate parties.
• Attending and organizing various sales meetings.
• Performing any other duties as directed by the management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent amount of education and experience
• 5 years of related experience
• Some experience in the Airline/Cargo industry
• Japanese language skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task with high analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret written documents and correctly understand verbally spoken explanations
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
