Responsibilities:

• Create order sheet and update inventory
• Preparation of packing list and shipping documentation for shipper when order complete
• Submit drawing request to factory
• Submit shipping report with vessel information to Japan and check packing lists from Japan
• Keep the customer updated on the status of the shipment until delivery
• Create and manage shipment tracking and inform sales team and customers and manage all customs paperwork
• Obtain price and timing from factory
• Utilize internal systems for tracking purposes
• Send inquiry to service provider for availability of service engineer along with supply record and job scope. Once obtained transmit quote to customer
• Provide the past supply record and next file number to the sales team to prepare quote

Qualifications:

• International business experience desired (Japanese companies preferred)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work load and manage time effectively
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings/mechanically inclined
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Comfortable in speaking to customers
• Excellent computer skills including MS office suite, Adobe
• This position will involve occasional travel to job sites, trade shows, customer visits (Ability to travel)
• Candidate must be comfortable wearing a hard hat and being exposed to dirty environment
