Responsibilities:
- Create order sheet and update inventory
- Preparation of packing list and shipping documentation for shipper when order complete
- Submit drawing request to factory
- Submit shipping report with vessel information to Japan and check packing lists from Japan
- Keep the customer updated on the status of the shipment until delivery
- Create and manage shipment tracking and inform sales team and customers and manage all customs paperwork
- Obtain price and timing from factory
- Utilize internal systems for tracking purposes
- Send inquiry to service provider for availability of service engineer along with supply record and job scope. Once obtained transmit quote to customer
- Provide the past supply record and next file number to the sales team to prepare quote
Qualifications:
- International business experience desired (Japanese companies preferred)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work load and manage time effectively
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings/mechanically inclined
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Comfortable in speaking to customers
- Excellent computer skills including MS office suite, Adobe
- This position will involve occasional travel to job sites, trade shows, customer visits (Ability to travel)
- Candidate must be comfortable wearing a hard hat and being exposed to dirty environment
