Position Title:	Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative
Location:	Wood Dale / Illinois

Summary:

We are seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative. You will be responsible for supporting sales activities, handling customer requests, and coordinating smooth operations from order to delivery.

Responsibilities:

Support sales staff with account management, quotations, and customer/vendor relationships
Handle customer inquiries by phone, email, and fax; provide rates and service information
Assist with operations, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery coordination
Monitor shipment status and liaise between customers, vendors, and internal teams
Resolve customer problems and ensure high satisfaction
Maintain accurate customer records, SOPs, and credit terms in line with company policies
Assist with invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up
Participate in weekly sales meetings and occasionally visit customers
Comply with all company policies, maintain workplace safety, and seek continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience
2–3 years of prior experience in a similar sales or customer service role
1–2 years of experience in the freight forwarding business
Strong ability to build and maintain rapport with clients
Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Positive and professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and general office equipment usage
