Responsibilities

• Support the outside sales team (OEM Sales Representatives) to expand Iwata’s client base.
• Research and compile lists of prospective customers using business directories, the internet, and other sources.
• Make cold calls and follow up on external sales leads.
• Identify key decision-makers and initiate the sales process.
• Maintain and grow relationships within targeted accounts.
• Coordinate with Customer Support staff to ensure smooth order processing, collections, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate and updated customer data in the corporate database.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and consult with internal departments when needed.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, presentations, and RFP responses.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Make outbound calls and emails to follow up with existing clients.
• Attend sales training, trade shows, and company events as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager to meet company goals.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to generate leads, convert prospects, and meet or exceed ales quotas.
• Strong skills in opportunity qualification, account development, and time management
• Experience dealing with multiple key decision-makers in sales environments.
• Knowledge of retail or wholesale sales methods is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and objection-handling abilities.
• Highly motivated with strong enthusiasm and energy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

• Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in an environment using liquids and solutions related to company operations (with proper PPE).
