A logistics company is seeking a Part-Time Ocean Export Coordinator (Entry Level) to assist with ocean export operations. This role is ideal for candidates seeking flexible, part-time work while gaining hands-on experience in logistics and international shipping. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Booking & Scheduling

Arrange cargo space with steamship lines and trucking companies

Coordinate pickups and optimize transportation routes
Documentation

Prepare and manage shipping instructions, Dock Receipts, Bills of Lading, and AES filings
Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with internal policies, FMC regulations, and U.S. export requirements
Tracking & Tracing

Monitor export shipments from origin to destination
Coordination
-
Communicate with suppliers, overseas agents, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications

Entry-level candidates welcome

No prior ocean export or logistics experience required

Japanese language ability is a plus
