Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and meeting sales budget goals within an assigned geographic territory and/or account base. This role focuses on both developing and maintaining relationships with agents and distributors and selling directly to end users, while driving profitable growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
  • Manage and grow assigned accounts, including direct responsibility for sales performance and account development.
  • Acquire new accounts while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Identify, create, and execute sales opportunities to achieve territory growth and profitability targets.
  • Resolve customer and channel conflicts fairly within assigned geographic channels.
Business Development & Strategy
  • Develop and execute territory-specific business and sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Recommend new product development and company services to support sales strategies.
  • Respond quickly to market challenges and obstacles to secure competitive advantage.
Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, distributors, agents, and customers to ensure territory success.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, competitor activity, pricing trends, and industry consolidation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account data in the company CRM system, including forecasts, opportunities, and milestones.
  • Provide timely reports and updates as required by management.
Brand Representation
  • Act professionally and proactively while representing the company, its products, services, and policies at all times.

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred
  • 3–5 years of sales experience required
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry strongly preferred

  • Technically minded with a strong focus on new business development
  • Experience selling to end users, integrators, industrial distributors, and channel partners
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of assigned territory, customers, competitors, and market segments preferred
  • Ability to plan and execute sales trips while staying within assigned travel budgets

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
  • Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms to operate equipment
  • Ability to use a cell phone, laptop, and other electronic business tools and related software
