Position Summary

Provide inside sales support and customer service within an assigned territory

Handle customer inquiries and support sales activities to achieve business objectives

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth logistics operations
Responsibilities

Support sales staff with daily sales activities and customer follow-ups
-
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
-
Prepare quotations and provide rates to customers and internal offices
-
Assist with new account setup and maintain existing customer accounts and SOPs
-
Monitor shipment status and coordinate bookings, documentation, and delivery
-
Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams
-
Investigate and resolve customer issues
-
Assist with invoicing and billing-related tasks
-
Participate in sales meetings and support special projects as assigned
Requirements
-
Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience
-
2–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, inside sales, or customer service is preferred
-
Japanese–English bilingual required (speaking, reading, and writing in Japanese)
-
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
