Position Title:	Shipper/ Receiver

Summary:

We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. You will be responsible for packing, shipping, receiving, and handling materials and products to ensure timely and accurate operations in support of our manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities:

Receive inspected parts and pack according to established standards; report any defects to quality control.
Fulfill shipping orders by picking items from stock, preparing cartons, labels, and staging materials for palletizing, crating, and shipping.
Verify shipping orders, check counts, load trucks, and prepare bills of lading; operate hand and powered material handling equipment.
Unload incoming raw materials, products, and supplies; verify shipments against bills of lading and report discrepancies.
Operate forklifts, pallet movers, and other equipment safely; follow proper lifting and storage practices.
Maintain shipping and packing supplies, equipment, and records; notify supervisors of shortages or malfunctions.
Ensure compliance with all safety rules and use of personal protective equipment; maintain a clean and organized work area.
Operate company vehicle for pick-up or delivery of parts, as needed.
Participate in training, recommend process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–1 year of experience in packing, shipping, receiving, material handling, or forklift operations.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license required.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
