Position Summary
A logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive business growth across the Central Region of the United States. This role focuses on new business development, global B2B account management, and delivering solution-based transportation services. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-driven, and has strong experience in international logistics and freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding the client base and increasing sales volume
    Conduct proactive cold calling, lead generation, and follow-up activities
  • Develop solution-based proposals to meet customers’ transportation and logistics needs
  • Consult with existing clients to optimize their shipping and supply chain strategies
  • Build strong relationships with new clients, including those unfamiliar with the company’s services
  • Conduct on-site consultations and sales presentations at client locations
  • Manage and grow global B2B customer accounts
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding
  • Strong understanding of import/export operations and international transportation services
  • Experience managing global B2B customer accounts
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Self-driven, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Compensation
Annual Salary:
  • $50,000 – $80,000, depending on experience
Salary Structure:
  • Negotiable between Fixed Salary or Base Salary + Commission

Commission Structure
  • 1st Year

    • 15% commission for new accounts
    • 10% commission for new business from existing accounts

  • 2nd Year

    • 10% commission for new accounts

    • 5% commission for new business from existing accounts

  • 3rd Year and beyond

    • Accounts transition to house accounts
