The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with key clients throughout Asia (including Japan), Brazil, Mexico, and the United States, assist with contract negotiations, resolve escalated customer issues, and oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and profit margin management. In addition, this position includes coaching and mentoring the sales team, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative, cross-cultural work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Native-level or business-fluent proficiency in both Japanese and English, with strong verbal, written, and business translation skills.
• At least 8 years of sales experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the food science or biotechnology sectors.
• Previous management or team leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to visit customers, manufacturing facilities, and affiliated group companies.
