One of our clients, Plastic Automotive Part Manufacturing Plant, is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. This position is Direct Hire and pays $45-55K. Relocation package available. 

 Summary of Responsibilities: 

• Assure all customer orders/releases are received and processed accurately. 
• Assure all customer shipments are shipped complete. 
• Assure all necessary customer required shipping documents are sent in accordance to the specific customer requirements. 
• Control cost within the department such as scrap, overtime, workforce, and downtime. 
• Provide a safe working environment as measured by accident and illness prevention. 
• Maintain a positive workforce environment. 
• Comply with company procedures, safety programs, etc.
• Determine equipment status, including all computer and printers, quality certifications and environmental certifications. 
• Coordination and training for certified Haz-Waste manifest trainees. 
• Working knowledge of shipping systems, including administrative responsibilities for customer order processing (EDI, Bar Code Software, Scanning, Container Management, etc.). 
• Ensure company is in compliance and properly compensated for alternate packaging by having a working knowledge of customer container management systems and control (customer portal entries, RFID, etc.). 

Summary of Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Supervisory experience (group leader/supervisor background)  
• 5+ years manufacturing experience. 
• Logistics or distribution background. 
• Computer skills including use of Excel and Word.
