Responsibilities:

Accounting

• Remittance, Sales, Labor, Credit Card and General Ledger reconciliations
• Reviewing and handling invoices and statements
• AP and AR Aging Reports
• AP process compliance (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
• Preparation for Form 1099
• Liaise with internal and external parties
• Supporting audits
• Perform weekly and monthly cash receipts
• Prepare monthly depreciation and update depreciation schedule
• Bank Reconciliation
• Update, verify and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and financial records
• Review and assist with employee expense reports
• Analyze expenses accounts (Maintenance, PE, RD, etc)

Employee Records

• Review and prepare weekly Temp Agencies’ payroll spreadsheet
• Reconcile actual invoices vs. payroll spreadsheet
• Review daily head counts vs. schedule to explain the significant discrepancies
• Review and adjust Labor Cost report formula based on the need

Clerical

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Coordinate repairs to office equipment
• Order and Inventory control on office supplies
• File insurance claims
• Company Events / Congratulatory and Condolatory Events
• Collecting & Distributing mails

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, OR high school diploma with 2-4 years' experience in accounting
• Excellent organization skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
