Key Responsibilities

• Plans and participates in direct sales contacts with customer: telephone or in-person prospecting, sales presentations, new/current account development; special marketing, sales or pricing programs,
• Oversees sales of fasteners and related products: creating quotations, travel to customers for sales presentations.
• Handles customer orders: receive orders, verify pricing, issue purchase orders,
• Responds to customer inquiries and resolves issues.
• Works with Quality and Engineering personnel for sales related matters.
• Assists in creating and assessing monthly forecasts and periodic budget information.
• Periodically participates in audit and physical inventory count of products on hand. Adjusts inventory records and reconciles discrepancies.
• Maintains physical and electronic records relating to customer accounts: quotes, orders, pricing, deliveries.
• Submits sales and expense reports as directed.
• Performs other tasks as requested.

Key Qualifications

• High school education required
• College degree OR 2-3 years related work experience or advanced training preferred
• Computer skills essential
• Reliability, detail-oriented, and focus.
• Multi-tasking, organizational, time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Mathematical, and problem-solving
• Flexibility, adaptability to business needs
• Able to travel for business purposes
