Sales Representative
Acts as contact window for customers and is responsible for overall sales activities for account servicing and marketing and research for business expansions during strategic sales activities by exploring and developing new business opportunities (new customers, new products, and new market).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs research, marketing and sales by executing new business development activities, while developing and executing sales strategies for continuous growth of business, and achieving sales goals in cooperation with the inside and outside sales teams.
Execute Marketing and Business Strategies
- Assists in the development of business strategies including primary market research, competitive market evaluation, fit analysis, and needs assessment. Identifies prospects through research and develops sales strategies on each prospect.
- Support execution of sales strategy by communicating with potential customers and related personnels of internal sections of the corporation, including sales representatives.
- Plans and schedules to visit assigned customers as contact window to gather information and generate business opportunities to introduce products and conduct in-depth presentations and dialogues.
- Develop marketing tools and presentations to support marketing activities.
- Plan and execute research and marketing activities to effectively perform sales strategic activities.
- Serves as point of contact for external associations and develop and maintain a high value business relationship with referral sources, including strategic customers.
- Coordinates and participates in promotional activities while working with suppliers, including trade shows, conventions, exhibitions and any other promotional activities to market products.
- Stays abreast of industry news and trends, products, competitors and other market circumstances, and works with Management to identify business opportunities.
- Execute research into customers’ needs and requirements for products and specifications; and report such information to Management.
- Communicate with customers to exchange information of their needs and demand to recognize how these requirements can be met by specific products or services.
- Communicate with FAEs and corporate engineers to prepare product-related information and presentations to facilitate strategic marketing activities.
- Reports customer-related information acquired through communication with customers to Management on all such occasions.
- Prepare activity reports periodically as directed by Management.
- Reviews progress/result, analyzes variances and takes any necessary recovery actions.
New Business Development
- Identifies key decision makers, concerns and needs of the prospects by asking thoughtful and probing questions.
- Manages sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
- Coordinates company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs.
- Assesses the needs of customers and actively seeks opportunities for additional business.
- Initiates, leads, and directs company’s new business proposal and proposal efforts.
- Provide product information, including specifications, development plans and quotes to customers, which consequently leads to developing strategic activities into business opportunities.
Manage and Maintain Accounts/Customers
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with assigned customers through periodical contacts by phone, e-mail or visit.
- Establish sufficient periodical on-site presence to be known by key decision makers of customers (e.g. purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management).
- Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements and follows up on quotations submitted to customers.
- Responsible for business growth of assigned clients while exploring needs of customers and actively seeking opportunities for another business.
- Negotiate prices and terms of contracts with customers and suppliers as appropriate.
- Ensure that customers are fully satisfied with all aspects of handled products.

- Maintains complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, function, or department to facilitate operations and interaction in the organization.
- Keeps management informed of status and progress, ensuring that regular and periodical communication takes place.
- Organizes, prioritizes and completes assigned tasks efficiently while managing time effectively.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and keeping abreast of industry trends and related compliance issues within the area of responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (Guideline)
5-8 years of experience with sales, account management, and technical products or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- In-depth working knowledge of sales techniques and power conversion products (e.g., power semiconductors, power supply electronics).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information and to develop sales & marketing strategies.
- Ability to make a persuasive presentation to experienced key counterparts and/or executives of customers.
- Ability to stay on tasks and follows-through the assignments until completion without close supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Computer: Basic use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Language: Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver’s license
Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Hybrid work schedule is in practice at present.
- Work requires frequent business travel (both domestic and international) as required.
- Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing, walking, grasping, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
- May be required to work beyond normal business hours as required.
