One of our clients - Global Logistics company is currently looking for an Import/Export Customer Service Agent. This position pays $22-27/hr. based on skills and experience.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Management of a series of processes such as receiving orders, placing orders with overseas manufacturers and vendors, communicating with overseas factories, importing, warehouse management, and invoicing.
• Coordinate shipments with importers and exporters for customer service
• Entry data and PO creation
• Arrangements with warehouse department for receiving & shipping
• Establish rapport with ocean carriers, and trucking companies in order to obtain competitive rates
• Maintain and develop business relationships with clients
• Verify ocean bills of lading, various export documents
• Keep updated on ever changing rules and regulations relative to international and domestic transportation
• Ensure the accuracy of all documents
• Approve vendor invoices and process for payment

Summary of Qualifications:

• Ocean import experience required (experience in general corporate logistics preferred)
• Business level Japanese
