 One of our clients, Plastic Automotive Part Manufacturing Plant, is looking for a Production Manager. This position is Direct Hire and pays $65-75K. Relocation package available. 

Summary of Responsibilities: 

• EDI processes and procedures. 
• Plans and manages departmental production schedules. 
• Management of in-coming/out-going logistics both customer and/or vendor. 
• BOM’s, Extended Forecasts, Order entry and data systems to support daily production requirements. 
• Production purchase order processes. 
• Sales order reviews (EAU) forecast requirements. 
• Follow environmental safety regulations to ensure compliance to U.S. laws. 
• Communicate/coordinates U.S. customs requirements to all applicable. 
• Negotiate with vendors for goods and services. 
• Manages customer coordination requirements to include, but not limited to, ramp up of initial mass production needs through build out and program obsolescence reduction issues. 
• Supports business planning objectives. 
• Implements purchased parts and materials and work-in-process inventory control systems to support FIFO plant-wide.
• Daily management of P/C, Purchasing, S/R, logistics. 
• Management of customer service, customer portals, customer returnable and expendable packaging. 
• Management of supplier surveillance and supplier performance requirements. 
• Management of fiscal year end physical inventory

Summary of Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree of equivalent experience. 
• Five to ten years in manufacturing planning capacity. 
• Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Access 
• Analytical planning and organizational efficiency skills 
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels. 
• Decision making skills. 
• Continuous improvement philosophy.
