Responsibilities:

• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements through the company’s quality management system.
• Follows all established Logistics Department’s methods and procedures.
• Participation, supervision, coordination and reporting of Inventory Control activities, including Shipping/Receiving, Storage/Sanitation. Production/Quality support and tracking Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
• Decision making and directing department in the absence of Manager.
• Submits Inventory Control monthly report.
• Submits call report to the supervisor within 48 hours after returning to the office from business trip or seminar.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
• Provides guidance and direction to lower level or new employees.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Computer skills required.
• Warehousing, Domestic/International shipping, and inventory management experience required.
• Knowledge/experience with INCO Terms, GMP and HACCP preferred
• Japanese Bilingual ability preferred

This position is temp to hire (3-4 months’ contract before hiring) and non-exempt with hourly pay based on experience. The position becomes exempt upon hiring.
