Job Duties :
- International Freight Forwarding Operation
- Forwarding ocean shipment, air shipment, Inland transportation
- Customer service and contractor control.
- Export Operation(Booking, Transportation, Documentation)
- Import Operation(Arrival Notice, Transportation, Documentation)
- Documentation for customs Entry of import/Export
- Quotation and Invoicing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
• Effectively schedule air and/or ocean bookings for international shipments, plan and organize a complex process from start to finish
• Ensure the complete and timely delivery of freight by attaining knowledge from clients to satisfy their needs and completing paperwork accurately
• Process data through the Company's system working with air, ocean, and trucking companies
• Be able to request, then negotiate, freight quotations to include details such as container
capacities, packing dimensions and weights, coding, etc.
• Comprehend the full range of international freight forwarding services: cargo movement and scheduling, customs brokerage, monitor and control services, cost optimization, etc
• Compose complex emails regarding issues and resolutions utilizing your ability to edit and proof business correspondence and reports and organize, prepare and assemble documents
• Provide excellent and timely customer service, under the close supervision and advice of the department Supervisor or Manager, by informing clients of the status of shipments and referring clients to a higher-level authority when questions are beyond scope of responsibility

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :
• Logistics, transportation or freight forwarding experience is a plus, but will train.
• Excellent communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
• Language Skills : English and Japanese (Business level)
• Proficient(Basic) in computer skills, including frequent prior use of Google Chrome(Gmail), Excel and Word
• Basic math skills, along with the ability to calculate freight measurements, weight and convert to international units.
• Extreme attention to detail, including the ability to respond and take proper corrective action if there is a problem
• Familiarity with domestic and international geography including countries and major cities
